Last Minute Gift Kids Can Make - Decorated Memo Block

When special events roll 'round we like to get the kids involved in making gifts for family. This week Miss 3 was busy decorating memo blocks with the help of her little brother. She drew pictures on the top and sides of the blocks and left a few surprise doodles on some of the pages.

This was quick and easy to pull off and if you're on a tight budget like we are you'll be happy to hear that this gift worked out at about $1.30 per block when you include the pens. We made nine blocks all together.

Currently, Miss 3 is using all of her willpower to avoid telling people what she has made for them. She has taken to telling people right off the bat that she will not be discussing Christmas presents.

Don't tell her, but we are going to be totally upstaged this year by the sharpie platters my sister-in-law and niece have made as Christmas gifts. Seriously, go and check them out. They are awesome.

I can't find the original Martha Stewart link which inspired this gift. If you come across it please let me know.

  1. Hi Hannah, I know this is not really the place for this request, but I can't find any other contact info on either of your blogs. Do you sell prints of any of your artwork? I would love to find out how to purchase some if so.
