We love dressing up. Throwing a mouse costume together was relatively easy. Here is how we went about it.
The ears were the most difficult part. I cut out two rectangles, folded them over and cut out a circle shape leaving a join in the middle. Once we were happy with the shape I threaded the felt through a hair clip making sure it would still hold some hair. Finally, I did one stitch at the top of the ears to hold both sides together.
The ears sat nicely in her hair and were complimented by some face paint. A jumbo-sized pipe cleaner made a perfect tail which we attached using the draw string on her backwards pants.
This outfit only took half an hour to make and gave us a whole morning of mousy fun.
